Differences in store format result from customer incomes, sizes of stores, product range, additional services and the retailer’s image. Many formats won’t work for you and I had my fair share of disasters. I was given the opportunity to sell in a bike shop caf茅 which I thought was a good idea at the time. It turned out that after a cup of tea, the last thing people wanted was a shower gel. But the point is, you never know – things that sound ridiculous sometimes work! That’s why experimenting is worthwhile.
